Provider evaluation scorecard

Score fit and evidence for your specific project. A high score for one buyer is not a universal provider rating.

Scoring scale: 0 = no evidence, 1 = weak, 2 = partial, 3 = adequate, 4 = strong, 5 = exceptional and verified.

Fit for this buyer and project 20%Required capabilities, constraints, and working model

Pricing and contract transparency 15%Assumptions, exclusions, recurring costs, and change terms
Buyer protections and safeguards 15%Acceptance, IP, data, security, payment, and exit controls
Speed to start 10%Real availability and a credible onboarding plan

Support and dispute handling 10%Named escalation, remediation, and continuity process

Interpret the result

The score is a comparison aid, not approval. Treat a missing must-have—such as required data residency or IP rights—as a gate even when the weighted total looks high. Score multiple finalists with the same evidence standard and document who accepts exceptions.

Our methodology explains why commercial relationships never change the weights or earn points.
